If used as a centerpiece, how long are they good for before they should be thrown away? Thank you. Love this idea!

I made up about 15 of these and it was fantastic at our Christmas party as gifts. I used clover I bought at a bulk store and Clementine. I could not find any black ribbon but I did have some orange ribbon and some chocolate brown. I tied the orange ribbon around the pomander and used the wide chocolate brown ribbon as the hanger. It cost me maybe 10 dollars (canadian) total for everything and it was so much fun making. Its going to be a tradition!
