Motorola Xoom Wifi unboxing. Purchased March 25, 2011, 2 days before release date. This is a new unit because the first one was rendered useless after trying to root. The current root method is available only for the Verizon Xoom. I'll post a link here when the Wifi Xoom root method is available.

@austinXDFtw Good choice. I might do that as well and return my Staples one. It was nice to get my hands on it 2 days early. Costco also has a better return policy (90 vs 14 days)

@CurrentWeb I totally agree with you. I feel bad that I took a perfectly good Xoom and made it so it didn't function anymore, but I hope that it saves other people from going through the same mess that I did.  I know people are already working on it. I think it'll only be a matter of days. I bet that shortly after the masses get their hands on one on the 27th that we'll have root right after.
