  • Finally finding a video that seems to match the same problems that I am having with my DLP. Well, did you figure out the problem?

  • @nautisport555

No, but will try at the end of april once my semester is over...

  • heheh DMD board

  • You really think it could be??? I know that Samsung pushed DLP and that they expected the DMD to fail after a couple years. If I wanted to replace the board, how do I do it?

  • It is a cat stuck inside. Ok well not so funny as I too am feeling the pain of having some problems with a tv from Samsung.

  • Bulb is failing to ignite its gasses on startup, the DLP wheel is making the spinning high pitch noise, the loud sound is the wheel spinning down as the tv tries to reset the comments in the process and start the ignition process of the bulb again....

  • your lamp is out dude, get a new one

  • Did you find what fixes this problem?

  • Hey Man, Did you ever figure out the problem? Mines doing the same thing.

  • berrings toast in the color wheel. happens to be the exact same size berring that is in alot of older hard drives, so if you were good you could press out the old berring and press in one from a scrapped hard drive.

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

  • OK boys and girls...I replaced the color wheel by following another youtuber's directions. EZ. The TV seems fixed. It doesn't turn on when plugged in. The lamp lights, the picture is back. Seems 100%. No noise. No problems. I'm running it now for a few hours to see if it holds but so far so good. If it craps out I'll repost....otherwise you can assume this was the cure. Hope it helps.
