GAME RIPOFF - Switchball Vs. Ballance

First episode of Game Ripoff!
Sorry for the vid quality..

Don't get me wrong: Switchball is a great game but..
These 2 games have too many things in common..

A small reference table:
Ballance = Switchball
Wooden ball = Marble ball
Rock ball = Iron ball
Paper ball = Rubber ball
Plank bridge = Fabric bridge (it breaks as you pass using the heaviest ball)
Fan = Fan (lifts the lighter ball)
Crate = Crate (used as obstacle or moving platform)

Yes, It's possible, but the games were developed by 2 different teams. I think Cyprade is a german team and Atomic Elbow is an american team.

I think Sierra had paid some kind of license to Ballance Developers to do a "remake" of their game.

PD: I like Ballance more than Switchball

Ballance was the original, and released by Atari Games back in 2003, not 2004. Level 13 came out in 2004. Switchball is a shameless ripoff, and not nearly as fun...more focused on graphics than puzzle solving.

the only thing thats better in switchball is graphics. ballance has better physics, puzzles, camera... switcball also feels too inert

actually I find switch-ball more fun and it's not a rip off some of the same devs helped work on switchball
