Have you noticed how many Uyghurs are enjoying that "moderen cociety"?
Did you notice that there is a policy not to hire Uyghurs for companies? Did not you notice that Uyghurs and HanChinese live in two different parts of the city? Did not you feel the tension between Uyghurs and Occupier Han Chinese? I have not mentions the other parts of Occupied Eastern Turkistan yet.

Uyghur are struggling to survive under heavy handed Chinese communists since the occupation in 1949. If that is all you have realised in Occupied Eastern Turkistan then you have to go deeper to the Uyghur society. Dont let your eyes blined by "money".
