In the 2007 Australian Federal election, Independent candidate and voluntary euthanasia activist Dr Philip Nitschke is standing as an Independent against Minister for Immigration and politician who overturned the world's first voluntary euthanasia law, Kevin Andrews in the Victorian seat of Menzies

I wonder if the people of Menzies know how lucky they are to have a candidate running who stands for such principles. Kevin Andrews behavior in the independent rights arena is shocking. What he did to that poor Indian Dr reflects this. I was embarrassed Australian at the treatment of gay rights, euthanasia, work choices and our so called terrorism acts which are soposed to protect our way of life...disgusting.

regarding your support for same-sex couples, it's interesting to note the minister who was referred to in a memo as being gay with a wife and children, and frequenting gay bath houses, just prior to the elections campaign was.... k.... a......
