Union Jacks first release went on to be their biggest track, Two Full Moons and A Trout; it was an instant hit and has now reached classic status worldwide. Their album There Will Be No Armageddon followed. .

From the album came the critically acclaimed track Red Herring. Both Red Herring and Two Full Moons were signed on to the legendary Rising High label, which only added to the success. With 5 full on single releases and an album, Union Jack is one of the most successful projects signed to Platipus in its 15 year history. .

2008 saw Union Jack reforming with new member Paul Brogden (POB/Seismic Records) alongside Simon Berry. In March of that year, for the first time in 7 years, Union Jack played all the hits LIVE at a very special and highly anticipated gig at the Ultra Festival in Miami as part of the Winter Music Conference. .

The first new Union Jack material to surface after 11 years was Papillion, a track that left the Platipus fans desperate for more. .

Funnelweb is the second track taken from the forthcoming album, due for a September release.
