good work on the voicing - it was very easy to follow the melodic line throughout.

It's difficult to capture the spirit of a piece that relies so heavily on pure sustain - like this one - on a piano. While your playing was good, I felt like some basic ideas of the original were lost because of this trait of the piano. I could almost scream for some strings or horns or rinforzando rolls to fill the silences, your creative restructuring notwithstanding. Good work.
