Carl Sandburg speaks!

Excerpt of an interview included in a special about Sandburg's life. It was hosted by Hugh Downs. I had the pleasure of digitally capturing a 16 mm print.
Unfortunately, it's of cheaper film stock that turns red when it ages.
The date on the film is 1979. Though it seems older than that.
The sound on the film was recorded optically, meaning you can see a physical picture of the sound wave alongside of the picture.
I captured the sound separately using a Bell and Howell 16mm projector, circa 1960. I bought it from a military supply house for $50.00!!! It was rebuilt in 1986 and sat in an army warehouse for years. It is in vintage condition and works very well!
