I picked up a banjo one day a couple years ago and started to play a little line that I thought sounded pretty cool. When I came up with a melody for it, I had this rush and thought to myself "Kori, you may have just written a hit song!"
I went downstairs to show my mom and one of my old friends and they laughed when I played it for them. What I thought I was my own hit single, turns out to be the B52's.
Here is my rendition of Love Shack.
