That is true I do not deny it. BUT, how many 2 legged predators are going to grab a livestock guard b y the ears .... especially with his mouth. More likely to shoot or poison the dog. Cropping it's ears will not help the mutt will it?

Besides it looks grotesque. The normal floppy ears look way better and give the dog it's natural gentle look.

  • In this day and time ,unfortunately , we may not just call wolves our 4 legged animal, but many 2 legged bastards that try to harm us and our families

  • @iva90

I wonder how many wolves THIS dog will ever see ;)

  • @iva90 me too :)

  • THIS IS THE STRONGEST BREED ON THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

  • Cool dog

  • why do some people cut the dog's tail?

  • Great comment

  • @Rathardican - Actually, some Livestock guard dogs have their ears cropped to protect them in case they have to fend off wolves. It is not from "the days of fighting dogs." It is quite customary because wolves, like dogs, tend to go for ears, legs, etc.
