Renae Marie - Susan's Search 2010

I hope you enjoy my submission, for Susan's Search 2010. If I had my druthers, I'd put a little polish on this w/some titling and Windows Movie Maker magic, but as I didn't know if it was legal or not in this competition, I went without.

There were so many choices to choose from, as I took many, many takes, but I hope you'll agree that this piece touches your heart- as well as your funny bone, thanks to my cat Skye's brief, noisy appearance. :) Thanks for watching, and for your support!

Same here. First time to sing specifically for an audition, and it had to be on the Net! LOL! My video was quite raw too, and I wouldn't have known how to embellish it anyway. Not really expecting anything, but this was actually fun, wasn't it?

@limnelson1 Yes indeed! Both a joyous and enlightening experience! It's been a great chance to see talent from the US and abroad, as well as meet other people w/music in their hearts, and support one another while we seek out our dreams! :D

@limnelson1 *giggles* Thanks so much! This was my first attempt at filming for YT (let alone a singing contest) so I'm praying it goes well. :) Your comment means a ton, and is tremendously appreciated! ^_^

I just hope that the lack of cutting & refined editing is not held against me. I wasn't sure if it was allowed in the contest, so I refrained from using fades, cuts, titles & stuff & just used the raw take. :\

Here's to you, + praying that Susan hears not only our voices, but also our hearts!
