ValleyCats make donation to establish scholarships for The Leadership Institute

At the annual State of the Economy address by Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino on January 12, Tri-City ValleyCats Vice President and General Manager Rick Murphy presented a donation in the amount of $4,000 to the Van Rensselaer Fund of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce to establish two scholarships for The Leadership Institute, the Chamber's skills-based professional development program.
