It covers the events that take place one night in an old, rustic inn in Alabama, where four guests and three owners find themselves locked in by a homicidical maniac. The maniac claims to have killed God and threatens to murder all seven of them unless they produce the dead body of one of them by dawn.

Also, the so-called "Christian Message" is EXTREMELY vague if its even there at all. All they say is "Light destroys darkness!".....well, duh! Light destroys darkness in STAR TREK also but thats not a Christian show (Not that I'm against STAR TREK, I luv it). Im saying uv gotta give us MORE than that! Simply saying light destroys darkness doesnt get nonbelievers thinking abt Christianity.

This film was very dissapointing. The idea in the book is interesting, even thought provoking. But the movie leaves SOOOOOOOOO many questions unanswered. The plotholes are huge and unlike their book counterparts, the characters have little to no personality WHATSOEVER! It Just didn't make any sense. Read the book, skip this junk

The Tin Man is cool. Except one thing why do they have pitch black eyes. Are they demons? And are those people who work at the Inn work for the Tin Man

@Eyeglompyou personally i liked the book better lol. i liked and disliked some of the things they added and took away lol. i wisht hey wuld have done the boiler room when they saw randy hanging and stuff lol

I'm 14 and in the middle of reading the book and I can't stop reading it. It sucks it's rated R so I technicaly couldn't watch it..

It's too short though, it's only 88 minutes long. The second half was different than the book but they had an improved ending than what the book had! =)
