This is a cardio workout that I came up with last week. I tried it myself and I must say it's more intense than it looks. Try it out and let me know what you think! Cardio does not have to take long to be effective and this video proves that!

  • By take rest as much as needed, must you also stop the timer? Anyways, 10 sets over 20 minutes, 11:48 seconds of actual work.

  • @qwerty11111122 No, you will not stop the timer as it then would not be a 20 minutes workout anymore. That's also what's challenging.

  • I tried this today and this is excellent! It wasn't as intense as i thought it would be. I was able to complete 4 rounds every 5 minutes.

  • @drhicast That's nice. Try to do 20 in 20 minutes now haha. There probably are plenty of people capable of doing that.

  • I really like this workout, I'm going to try it the next days, today I already planned for a different workout.

I try to remember to post my set record and heart rate.

  • @tsi2568 Remember, only 3 days a week maximum!

  • do you have any replacement work-outs for the jumping lunges? the surface i work out on is too slippery :/

  • @Ericozzz If you would go on a 60% rate, the 10 minutes would be very ineffective and if you would it at 85% rate for 10 minutes 5 days a week it would be to intense. Besides that cardio hasn't got the great influence on losing bodyfat as most people think. Look at me, I don't do cardio at all, besides some walking and cycling to get my body to a place I need to be (so as a form of transport). Focus more on your nutrition and on muscle gaining exercises which will change your body more

  • @bigdaddy71355 I've actually experienced that kind of workouts as that was the way I used to run for a while. Although I didn't take only a 30 second walk, but rather a 2 minute walk as I did sprinting. I would sprint for about 30 seconds as fast as I could, often hill upwards after which I would take my time to recover.

  • excellent vid. have u seen recent research favoring 30 second walk-30 second run as best exercise for fat loss? btw, never cease to marvel at how awesome ur abs r.

  • hey bro, can you make a vid talking about cardio rate influences on the aerobic workouts? I mean, the differences on fat burning/stress/necessary rest when you keep making cardio that takes 75% or 50% of your maximum rate. For example, i got 10% bf and I'm focusing on endurance workouts, I do cardio 5x a week for 10 minutes at a 60-85% rate. Is it too much?
