Of course waterboarding can kill you. It simulates drowning. Tilting the head back forces the water up the persons nose. Very unpleasent and - of course - very lethal.

You're doing it wrong. Elevate the feet. Make sure the subject is bound so they can't resist. Also you need more water, and you do it in increments so there's enough breathing going on to give them hope. It lasts longer that way too.

why does everyone do this wrong, force mouth closed, tape or sock in mouth hold nose dont close the nose just hold it, pour water over mouth and nose, they will last for only a few secs at best.
