Was feeling slightly under the weather so I was like, well, okay

I'm not gonna lie, I lulzed when I heard they charted the piano to pro guitar on the original's pro chart. Kind of weird but as a direct translation of the chart I guess it fits... It's just cognitively weird to strum to a piano. Blah.

So as for legacy charts, the one on the left is the Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock expert guitar gameplay. Obviously.

The one in the center is the first, original version of the song released, expert guitar.

The one on the right might confuse some people, but throughout the entire song where you see the piano charted with all the hammer-on chords, that's the RB3 KEYS of Somebody to Love. Now when it switches to four charts, the big one is the RB3 KEYS and the one that replaces it is the RB3 version of the expert GUITAR chart. Then it reverts back.

I tried to make it as obvious as possible because the RB3 version of the guitar chart is basically identical... But still, just to show the difference and whatever

Also, I was going to have the bass pro chart up instead of the pro chart of the RB3 version but eh. I didn't want to clutter the screen, even though bass is really awesome on this song. oh well

played this thing like fifteen times haha

  • So let me get this clear:

The first part goes, from left to right:

    GH - RB2 version Guitar - RB3 version Keys

Then, its RB3 version Keys, and:

    GH - RB2 version Guitar - RB3 version Guitar

    And the Pro charts are

RB2 version PRO Guitar - RB3 version PRO Guitar

...I'll need more than 1.6 volts to thank about that

  • I now seriously want to hear somebody play the "Pro guitar" chart of the RB2 Somebody to Love on an actual guitar. I bet it'd sound incredibly trippy.

  • @lightsup55 Thanks

The left pro guitar track is "Somebody to Love" by Queen compatible with Rock Band 1, Rock Band 2, and Rock Band 3 (a.k.a. legacy DLC). It consists of only the basic band setup, including guitar, bass, drums, and solo vocals. Guitar is charted for BOTH guitar and keyboard sounds.

The right pro guitar track is "Somebody to Love (RB3 version)" by Queen compatible with Rock Band 3 ONLY. It adds keyboard and 3-part vocals (harmonies). Guitar and keyboard charted separately.

  • @NightmareSnake You need to play the goal/achievement/trophy titled "Guitar Apprentice" to unlock the ability to play keys on guitar. That goal/achievement/trophy requires you to "5 Star on Easy Guitar (or 3 Star on a higher difficulty) any 25 Rock Band 3 songs" (i.e. NO DLC or imports of previous Rock Band titles).

And yes, you can mix and match ANY 25 Rock Band 3 songs from various difficulties. For example, 1 song with 3 stars on easy guitar and 24 songs with 5 stars on medium guitar.

  • i still have no clue why there are 2 pro charts lol

  • Also how are you playing the Keys chart with a guitar?

  • @SuperGigaman I'm with you on GH.

  • @Afireinside912 that makes no sense. Whatsoever.

  • @SuperGigaman

Enjoy your time in the grave.

  • They could have just charted only the guitar parts for the original release. That's what I would have done.

  • -Mind Fuck-

ill uh, stick with GH @-@
