Burt is a little Rat Terrier /Chihuahua mix that was abused & given up to a shelter where he was in dog fights because the shelter did not separate the dogs properly and they sensed Burts fear and attacked him several times. GetALifePetRescue.com took him to help Burt overcome his fears of people and other dogs. We have worked with him physically and mentally to get him to the point where he can be adopted to a compatible home. Get A Life Pet Rescue is a no kill organization and Burt is currently living in the same foster home where he is never caged and always feels safe But the ultimate goal is to place him in his own home so his foster mom can rehabilitee more needy dogs.
