This is pretty rubbish. Much of the acting is so wooden - they sound as if they're reading their lines aloud! The film makers have used A LOT of creative licence. Erzebet was 14 when she married (not 15) & her husband died in 1604 when she would've been 43/44 years old (not 38 as suggested). There's no evidence she committed suicide. She was imprisoned in her own castle for the last 4 years of her life. The death sentences of the servants have been highly sanitized: 2 were actually burned alive.

@TheNuharoo: Either way,she was a crazy mofo. Her unfortunate upbringing doesn't give her a license to kill but that's some childhood.
