ummm on the second boss you are ment to attack when he has a coloured barrier but i get pushed back every time. can anyone help me?

Buy some health, energy regeneration, and a range weapon (all mighty ray is very good), run to the left side, beat 2-3 zombies to restore your energy, use your range weapon on the butcher/zombies, jump over the butcher when he runs towards you, run to the right side, beat 2-3 zombies, use your range weapon on the butcher/zombies, jump over the butcher again, etc... It'll be over in no time.
