DRZ400 Oil Level Check Procedure

1. Let the engine run for 3-5 minutes.

2. Switch off and leave for 3-5 minutes.

3. Remove the dipstick and wipe off any oil.

4. Hold the bike upright and insert the dipstick
back into the frame and let it sit on the threads.
(don't tighten it up)

5. Lift the dipstick back out and take a reading
the oil level is ok if it shows up on the hatching.

  • are u runnong out of part for that bike XD also how are them tires in the wet ? 

  • @sickone1234545 Running out of parts never.. have some parts just not fitted as of yet :) soon... Tires are basically slicks .. so not that good in the wet really.. if its damp there really good.. just if theres water on the road back end slides all over the place :) Regards karl

  • what if there is no oil reading after changing and putting 1.8L in?

  • I check mine exactly like this, I guess idling in the garage isn't enough. I even take the weep bolt out to make sure im not too low. I change mine at 1000miles. I dont know how I could be low already. It doesn't leak. Weird. Thanks for the help...

    (the mixture screw is under the carburator and we're supposed to tighten it ... i don't know how !)
