I'm not a satanist, so I guess I'm not completely qualified.To my knowledge, there are 2 main branches of Satanism: Theistic and LaVeyan. LaVeyan Satanism would encourage the worshipping and betterment of oneself and praises the idea and philosophy of what Satan represents, while Theistic Satanism actually worships and believes in the entity of Satan.

@trevorsono I AM a Satanist so yes I am fairly well qualified on the subject.

Satanism essentially worships the self, and logic, and nature (or what is natural.) We don't believe in an actual Satan, or devil.

Satanists may or may not practice occultism, it's up to them, but the progenitorial and most important principle within Satanism is individuality- to do what you wish to do and be yourself, and not care about whether others are bothered by it.

@trevorsono People fear what they do not understand, and it's painfully obvious just by looking up "Satanism" on youtube and seeing the related videos, that the vast majority of christians do NOT understand Satanism.

Everyone is so afraid of people who worship the christian devil.

Why would they be? The christian GOD killed millions of people and his followers are members of the most violent religion on Earth, so why is it people have such a big fear about Satanists/Devil worshipers?
