For the launch of its new V-Power gasoline in Barbados, the local Shell distributor spares no expense - two Ferrari F1 cars were brought in, and one did several runs on a closed public road between two Shell stations. Residents were in anguish, fans were in awe!

  • It does not vary between 130 and 140. A lawn mower is 85. At germany i heard on tv they do 300 decibles.

  • Decibels is a logarithmic scale, so 90 db is 10 times as loud as 80 db, and 100 db 10 times as loud as 90. 300db would be "1 with 20 zeros behind it" louder than 100db. You would hear that on Saturn. The planet.

  • theres no such thing as 300db, the loudest noise possible is 194db or maybe its 196 i cant remember

  • Gotta get to the Bajun Queen.....late for dinner!

  • and they can't come anywhere in the fucking U.S.?

  • nothing like the sound and smell of F1

    greatest show on earth....

  • your incorrect. A 3db increase is a twice the "loudness"

so 103db is 2 times louder than 100db.

  • this is really interesting

  • Space isn't an absolute vacuum -- and F1 cars are around 130-140dB as stated below

  • LOOOOL LEGAL STREET RACE!:D
