Stephanie's Bo Kata - 5th Space Coast Tournament

The song I used was "Mulan's Decision" from the Disney movie Mulan.

I came up with this from scratch, just did what seemed natural with the music. I had a lot of help from a mentor, Mr. Champagne. I also did end up cutting out about 20 seconds from the original clip.

Stephanie, I personally thought it was beautiful (Female Red Dragon 3rd Dan here...training off and on since '74)! The music went very well with it. So much more fluid than some of our katas. Thank you for sharing!!

Well done, you don't know me but I have to thank you; I've been focusing on the wrong thing in creating my bo kata.

I'm a second-degree brown belt in Goju-Ryu and for my black belt test i have to create a weapons kata, the Bunkai is done but the kata's flow isn't right yet. I think I might have just the thing after watching yours, thanks for the inspiration Stephanie.
