Ever think I might have worked in local government? Don't make assumptions!

I find it a little odd that you're so well versed in the complaint procedure for all the jurisdictions you have lived in. Have you really had THAT many negative encounters with law enforcement? Ever think you might be part of the problem??

I have to say, some of these responses from cops and their supporters are typically arrogant. "After all, jerk, we serve." Yeah, right. So, you were having a little well-earned fun, eh? That's what have the people you took to jail last year were doing. Think about it.

As far as the "drinking establishment," well, there are things in the works for them, when their ABC license comes up for renewal in Sept. Basically, they will either agree to some terms, or we are going to protest their renewal.

The PROBLEM is they did not respond SATURDAY, SUNDAY or MONDAY night. This is a YEARLY problem and we as residents ARE going to raise enough hell to get the problem solved. SO, if you have access to the FOP on top of a garage, go there next year and drink your brains out.

Oh you got a response...The following night, May 14th, there was a LINE of DC cops outside the drinking establishment, to make sure noone had an open alcohol container in the street. Problem resolved...everyone went to the F.O.P. area on top of the garage where testimonies could be given and people weren't whining about bagpipes. Fantastic waste of money and police resources for a residential street that happens to also have a drinking establishment.

Yes, I would have had the same complaint as I do now. The law applies to everyone. Had non-LEOs acted the same way, I would have the same to say. The sad part is, had it been non-LEOs there would have been a response and the problem resolved.

Another argument for us to not wear our badges in DC...would anyone really care what these guys were doing then?
I'm sure you went as far as identifying the people in the video as law enforcement officers. You're identifying crimes committed. From your video, can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt, to a jury of peers, that these "people" were drinking alcoholic beverages?? What evidence do you have of a vehicle being operated under the influence of alcohol? In my opinion, your video is of poor quality, and is not "proof" of what you're accusing.

It was enough proof to start internal investigations in 4 jurisdiction, when the commanders in those jurisdictions confirmed the identity of the officers and asked for all the footage.
