awesome vid. i love world. i was there. i saw a ton of ppl that i knew and 2 from my barn. did u get vid of the finals. if so my horses name is artful seduction and we placed 7th in hunter hack and 9th in working hunter

I noticed that people on the AQHA circuit tend to act like they are going over 4 foot fences when they are low hunter fences. Is there any reason they close their angles instead of letting the horse do it and come up to them? Just wondering. :) Thanks!!

not to be rude. i love quarter horess, some of these have the talent. but i REALLY dont like AQHA over fences riders! now that i watch carefully ..their eq. is not too great and in general theyve got issues people!

I agree, their horses are very nice but their eq is waaayyy off compared to the typical traditonal equitation rider

AQHA people are all about asthetics...I've shown AQHA and my boyfriend has show "A" Hunter shows...AQHA is about looks...Hunter riders are more about your riding ability.

yea they over jump it and they also have no lower leg it just swings the whole time like really people

yup. lol I have two AQHA reg'd horses; both of them wonderful boys, but compared to thourobreds and other more jumpign oriented breeds, they A|RE a bit lazy. well, some of them. One of mine isn't, the other is goign over fences. you gotta make sure they pick up their feet.
