Andy Gibb Drive

March 1989 Inside Music paid attention to the death of Andy, when the Miami mayor unveiled "Andy Gibb Drive". With interesting comments of Andy's brothers, The Bee Gees. Andy loved everyone and everyone loved Andy.... and still does.

Thanks for posting this sincere look on Andy filled with love and underlying emotion, the brothers are still having a hard time over it as they talk about Andy. Andy was honoured with a street named after him which is a beautiful gesture but even that cannot pay enough tribute to a man who did so much and meant so much....I could only wish he was still here.

So sad! He was so beautiful and talented like his three wonderful brothers. I hope Andy is resting in peace. I know his memory will live on foreever. I gave him the only tribute I knew how, I named my only son Andy!

I think andy would of loved it that a street was named after him.

Understand what robin is saying, but the point is andy didnt die of intention, it was a heart disorder.

Andy could'nt help his passing.

thank you for sharing this piece of precious Andy Gibb legacy! My wish is that the people in Miami now, affiliated with the park commission or the chamber of commerce, would take steps to bring back some 'name recognition' to the street that was dedicated to Andy Gibb! Apparently now, there are no street signs and no mention of that park having andy's name attached to it. A real shame. Thanks for keeping Andy's legacy alive!

I know this family was full of love for each other, they always have been. Andy tried so hard to be what everyone wanted, I just wish he could of felt that we all loved him and would have done what ever we could have to made him feel the way he made us all feel. He is so sadly missed and now we miss Mo just as much. They are with their father now rejoicing in heaven. Such sweet beautiful Angels we have. Love always Michelle

@kajehgb His brothers, Barry at least, obviously think his heart was weakened by drugs. There is no way to know for sure. It could have been due to a congenital defect. It was a rare disorder he had tho

wow maurice looks different never seen him like that before i didnt know he went bald during the late 80s but his hair grew back its prob coz were so use to seeing him with his hat and glasses terrible shame hes no longer with us either
