Best definition I ever heard of what it means to be meek came from my pastor who told us a wild horse who had been tamed was considered 'meeked'. From then on I realized being meek was being obedient. Voluntairily doing things God's way is not weak or shy, as it often takes boldness 2 stand up2 the way of the world-its the ultimate sign of intelligence.

Displaying a meek attitude towards those attacking or accusing takes true surrender to Jesus to accomplish. Meekness is practically impossible "in the flesh" without our Lord's loving guidance and help.
