Moanalua's First Principal

Meet the man who established the strong foundations on which Moanalua High School, and the High School system as we know it, rest upon to this very day. This man lead Moanalua High School for 15 years since its bare beginnings in 1972. Mr. James Kim founded such positions as the College & Career counselor and Student Activities coordinator, and concieved of Spirit Week, Mene Square (which is dedicated to him) and rejected the name Salt Lake HS for his school, among many other things.

Without him, Moanalua High School as we know it would not exist.
