I need help on win7. I was typing an essay an my pc shutoff and restarted itself. I went passed the bios mobo screen but I can't even reach the win7 startup screen. I just get a black screen with blinking underscore. Please help

i start my laptop and it starts on black screen so i do control alt delete and nothing pops up ? =/ help plz

if it's happen the next time you start the computer,does it mean the explorer.exe is corrupted?
cause i check task manager and it's running but still black out.

@DI3G0x96 - If safe mode isn't working either, then you may not have a choice. You may have to reload your Operating System on your computer. My apologies

I agree, you can't just run it every single time as a fix, as i instructed you have to REPLACE the broken file with another explorer.exe from another computer running the same OS. Running explorer.exe just gives a temp fix - you need to replace the file completely.

Did you just run Explorer.exe or did you replace the file with another Explorer.exe?
