Aleta decided to switch to alto sax this year (from clarinet last year) and has been progressing very well, thanks to help from her teacher, Ben, who is an Ithaca College student.
@Theguitarguy97 Thanks! She had added tenor this year, and wants to add bari next year. OMG, the prices of bari's are so high! Even for student-grade instruments!
@david196564 Thanks for the nice comment. She has continued with the sax, and is doing well and enjoying it. A while ago, her great uncle gave her a 1914 Conn silver sax in good condition, and that has made a big difference. Having your own instrument instead of a school rental makes it a lot more fun, I think. Plus the sound is nicer. We'll check out the book you suggest.
awesome-rific. I wish i did that well my first year playing the sax

Ohh very nice... You have alot of potential. I play bari sax, but can play alto too (same notes) and this is great.

I like this video, you play very nice and please go on. Do you play exercises? Check out " Daily Warm-Up Exercises For Saxophone" by Jackie Mclean.
