@Mishkafofer Possible yes, but free no. Let us not forget that is it very likely the "merchant" selling his tomatoes will absorbe the "free samples" of his tomatoes by slightly highering the cost of his tomatoes. It is a way of marketing your "product". The same can be said for the flyers he spent money on that he posted on the table in front of his stand. Businesses simply pass the cost of these measures to the "consumer". Its not free, someone always pays for it someway or somehow.
