Wow! This brings back memories! This mmovie is one of the best ever made. Danny Kaye was so funny in this that I laugh throughout the whole thing. Is the brew that is true in chalice with the palace or is the pellet with the poison.. or..oh well! Thank you so ever much for posting it!
Born, David, Daniel Kaminsky, in 1913, in Brooklyn. He was one of the best Jewish comedian and actor then, and none like him today. He brought much laughter to millions. In 1956, when he made his first trip to Israel, upon meeting David BenGurion, he said to the Prime Minister, "Let's have an agreement, I won't try to be a politician, don't try to be a comedian." I was 7 years old, and I was there.
My favorite movie when I was a kid. Oh, to have them all back again for the best clean entertainment. I watched this movie so many times I could recite all the nutty poems. Thnaks for the memory!
