@chemerich Nurses do add value to the economy.. I don't get where you get that misunderstanding from. They provide a service which has value to someone, which is the very nature of wealth creation.

You also forget that human nurses don't add value to the economy. In fact, they cost a lot of money. So the more nurse robots we have, the more money is left to pay the pensions.

Why is it bad ?. I have more trust in a robot than a human being. A robot never gets tired, it never gets bored, it never stops until the job is done and it's always there when you need it. I have seen old people in nursing homes who never get visits from their kids. Having kids is NOT a guarantee that you will be taken care of when you are older.
