I downloaded it, but honestly it wasn't really usefull for me.
It has great potential though.
Searching was slow and doesn't give me correct results.
For my 6 day holliday I bought G-map, although not perfect it did had speech navigation and always brought us to the right address.
POI is much less accurate though.

I believe OpenMaps doesn't store it for offline use?

overall great tool. some city isnt really as detail as google map though

Does the Iphone 3G GPS shows your current location on the map you downloaded ?
