that marinade looks like engine oil. Probably why the contrast is set that way.
The write up made me laugh too. ''expert chef'', 'prominant culinary institute', 'filmmaker''. Why the fluff? Just say 'some guy who can put a piece of chicken with some engine oil on it into a pan', 'a high school home-ec class in AZ', and 'the guy who held the video camera'.
BTW, the oil isn't suppose to smoke. Which is why ya don't use olive oil.
