my mom past away four years ago last august (i was 13 at the time)... i will always remember singing this song with her... it was one of her favorite Christmas songs... for that reason and the fact that i lost her only a few days after her birthday... I always think of her when i hear this song and break down crying... I love and miss her so much..

It is so sad when a loved one dies. I lost my mother and sister to an illness when I was ten the day after Christmas. It's really sad since I almost died a month after by being hit by a car, but my mom couldn't be there, I was alone in the hospital for months. I don't blame my dad though. At least my friends sent letters. This song was my mom's favorite so I always gave her Christmas shoes. I feel really bad for everyone out there whose lost a loved one.
