Nice Video lolz, my names Jenna, im feelin n0rty and h0rn3y if any guyz wana chat im usually on ___ FriendlyFlirts..dot..COM ___ my username there is Jenna-ehjuyoitqfyo chat soon ;)
that was good especially for those who are deaf however what is the difference between BSL and ASL i know that they are different countries i.e BSL is British Sign language and ASL American Sign Language
Hey dont feel bad, I have yet to see any of us be able to sign that song with the full emotion that Bette conveys when she sings that. I can only think of one person who may be able to pull that off and so far I havent seen any videos by him interpreting music.
You did a very good job of signing the song in ASL. I do think it loses some of its punch when done in ASL.
But then again, that could be because when I sign it, I do it as the song is sung. In English and not ASL.
I'd say that the guy who responded to me did it very well (talk about being outclassed :-P), as did the BSL guy. Ah well.
I'd suggest you take a look at those before saying it necessarily loses punch in ASL. :-) (I would say that signing it in SEE, however, would be a butchery.)
A couple of things I would like to comment on. One the video was very jerky. Im not sur eif this is a problem the cam or a problem with editing.
Another is when signing that song, your not really conveying the emotional power that song has over the listener. That song is a very powerful song and also a very beautiful one.
I am a latened deaf and used to really love *The Rose*. Bette Midler really outdid herself when she sang that.

As for emotion - my affect tends to be towards the flat side. :/
