2 questions-
did you use a capo?
what are the chords with your adjustments?
it sounds amazing!

@pushingdaisies4evr Thanks a lot! I now play it on a soprano ukulele tuned in open re-entrant Eb (Bb Eb G Bb). For this recording I used a tenor uke in open re-entrant C tuning (G C E G) and put a capo in the third position. So it is an open Eb tuning. The chords are Eb (open), Ab (barré 5th fret) and Bb (barré 7th fret) and some variants with 6th, 7th and sus4. The uke you see in the video is not the uke I played for the audio recording. I thought a yellow uke was good for the show...

Thats cool. I never tried de-tuning the uke before! I think you can also play the song in open D...at least on guitar...

@Katiekatify open D is also fine on the uke. I used to play it on the guitar years ago. I did it in Eb, 'cause it's the perfect key for me to sing. I have one uke always tuned in open Eb, as I do some blues stuff with a slide. The string action is also a bit higher in open Eb, that's better for sliding.
