Something about the name John and rickenbackers...

Oh, man! Those great "roll 'n tuck" Kustom amps--like something out of a retro time-warp! Wish I still had the one my folks bought for me when I was a kid back in them days!
I love this vid--but the drummer just makes me want to hear Doug "Cosmo" Clifford (and Stu Cook on bass). When are these boys gonna make up and play nice again?

@spraddr - I can relate man.... my dad bought me a black Kustom 100 brand new, and a fuzz-tone pedal. I thought I was Jimi Hendrix.

@OfficialRobbieMason i guess you found out more about that concert, and deleted your comment...it was during the Blue Moon Swamp tour.
The guitar is a Ric 345.

@Sig269 i think it's actually a Ric 1998 (i don't know the 345...may be is the same 1998)
i thought it was a 1996, but now i've seen the bigger body of john´s guitar.

Oh yeah that Kustom sound.
John should use his old equipment more often

@tubegucker1 i agree with you. But during the 1998 tour, an accident did happen and caused some damage on the kustom head... after that, john never took his amp on tour anymore. That amp has a huge value to john...more than money. But the john use to play the rick sometimes yet, just for play I put a spell on you...i don't know if he's using the rick right now, because it was seriously damaged during a flood in Michigan in 2009 (also the bat guitar and many other guitars of john)...
