Very good clip. Most peoples forget that a national founding myth is the result of interests. May it be Romolus and Remus, the Boston "massacre" or the Boston tea party. The patriots of the 1770's had been masters of propaganda. I remember seeing the tea party in the muppet show in my childhood . Classic with the alleged tax raise that prevented the waterfront people from drinking TEA! No word of smugglers profits lost by the EIC monopol with cheap tea. I would be happy to pay Georges tax rates

@crematio I would be happy to pay for the debt that the Brits went into to pay for the French and Indian War. What happen when Britain couldn't repay their debts, oh yea they lost their status as a world power. History repeats itself!

@cslewis623 Well a massacre is a term for civilians or unarmed combatants/prisoners are killed in numbers and they have no way of fighting back.

Examples: Srebrenica massacre in July 1995 - 8,000 Bosnian Muslim, mostly men and boys, were slaughtered by Serbian troops.

Quissa Khwani bazzar massacre in April 23 1930 - British soldiers fired on peaceful Indian protesters killing 200.

Munich Massacre in September 5 1972 - Palestinians take 12 Israeli olympic team hostage and kill them.

Paul Revere's drawing is not acurate becasse what happened is that the Patriots were daring the Loyalist to shoot them knowing that the Loyalists were not allowed, but when someone pushed the souldier the Loyalists fired at the Patriots. In the drawing you see that the Patriots faces look scared and innisent and the Loyalist look mean and evil, but really it was the Boston Massacure was really the patriots fault.

@Steve11W yeah i know lol they ordered not to fire and it was proven it would be impossible to hear it and then there was a coloniest that hit one of the solders and got up and fired there wondering if it was on purpose because some think they wanted to kill them and double loaded its a mystery how crispus died aftter that in around 15seconds - 2 min the rest of them fired and the captain didn't stop them so i think they wanted to kill them because he hated the coloniests

@TehReaz It was proven that Crispus was the first to die. It was also proven that the colonists had just left a tavern. They threw rocks and shells at the soldiers. The crowd was so loud that the youngest soldier did not hear the Don't in "DON"T FIRE", so he fired, and as did the rest of the soldiers. They were also not in a formation, and there were Nine soldiers, not eight (eight were in Revere's painting). Also, it was night. I gave you the true facts, now decide if it was a massacre or not.

i think it was a riot or self-defense because someone went up to a troop and yelled and said bad words 2 him then he hit with the bulk of his gun then he yelled to make the main captain to come and they came the where in a quarter moon shape and after that they were more people yelling and u couldn't hear the captain yell fire it would be impossible after that someone hit one of the solders with a stick and he fired but we dont know if crispus attucks was the first to die thats my story
