nice track, how do you get good volts all around a track that size?

We use a 3rd party regulated power supply with variable voltage from 6v to 15v and 25 amps max. Plus we have about 8 power tap cables located around the track.

Thanks, its actually 4 box set tracks (plus a few extra pieces) put together to make one bigger track.

When I get my own house, I would like to try making something like that if I had enough free time.

But I would like to make one that also incorporated a train track with it. It would be so cool if there could be a custom track made so there could be a railroad crossing. So the train could cross the slot car track. That would make it so epic to try to beat the train.
