He would look good in purple and gold. He's got the tools to work the triangle.
On offense he has a great fade away baseline jumper, a high percentage shot from 3, and is willing to pass and be a facilitator. A similiar offensive arsenal to that of Kobe's, except Kobe is more explosive to the rim and Jerel can shoot the lights out from 3.
On defense he has quick hands. Perimeter defense is always a plus. But he is below avg for a SG at 6'3'' and needs to work on FT, and take care of the ball.

As the nations leading scorer, he played a good game against Seton Hall 2/09. But he's got alot of attitude when the officials call him out on something. He needs to shake it off and just play the game. Last season he was ridiculous in the tournament when the team played Pittsburgh. True, the officials made alot of whack calls, but he should'nt get emotional the way he did. He needs to calm down.
