XCode Tutorial: Custom Navigation Bar

Any class file method can be overridden by another class file accessing that method without even touching the class file, yet the file has the same code the whole time. For this, we override the drawRect:rect method in the UINavigationBar class and declare an image, then pass it as the navigation bars background. This means that you can have a photo as the background.

Hey.. I've just started teaching my 6 yr old son how to program because he got so into the interface builder but to no avail. You have not shown how to custom the NavBar, its totally not using any image! You just simply add two things on the view, and that can be done by anyone in just 15min!
