Früher Hardrock mit Deep Purple live im Beat Club am 24.06.1972 und in der legendären Mark II Besetzung mit Ian Gillan (v), Ritchie Blackmore (g), Jon Lord (o), Roger Glover (b) und Ian Paice (d).
Along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple apply to be the pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal. Although the band went through many line-up changes - labeled Mark I to IV - the Beat Club performance shows the legendary second line-up with Ian Gillan's howling vocals, Ritchie Blackmore's fast guitar, Jon Lord's organ and the rhythm section of Roger Glover (bass) and Ian Paice (drums).

This classic song was released when I was born in 1972, sadly the end year of the stunning experimental rock era between the years 1968-72.
