Just checked my data. Got some other drivers data and events from yesterday and my times from today overlap [ I was logged on one bus but has me logged onto another bus aswell ].

Surely First don't hire drivers which require a flashing yellow and red light to tell them that doing an emergency stop to let people off isn't a good idea :P. Seems like a complete waste of time.

Funny how these MD's introduce things they know drivers do not want, think that it is brilliant and then leave! Then drivers are still stuck with them. Try asking the drivers first, it might help.

This green light system just makes the driver's life more difficult. Not only is he trying to deal with wanker passengers and idiot motorists, he's now having to worry about this shit by trying to avoid too many red lights, just in case he gets sacked, and knowing First, they would sack you for too many red lights because they are a bunch of cunts to work for. What happened to the good old days when we could be left alone to do our jobs? Now we have this shit to worry about. Makes me angry. GRRR

Here's feedback if you want it Ms Shaw. It doesn't work and never has, except if you do constant 5 mph and don't have to worry about passengers, red lights or roundabouts or other motorists.

your talking bollocks, drive green does not work so i dont give a toss wot it says, until it gives 100% i dont wanna know.. n im bloody shocked that the union is giving it the thumbs up.. its supposed to make me concentrate more is it... i concentrate 100% as im a professional driver.. i dont need no light to tell me so

Just another load of rubbish just to make life even harder for the driver, not to mention the crap they have to already deal with. How hard or how easy is it to get a flashing red light? If a motorist pulls out in front of you, then you'll have to brake hard, so you'll end up being penalised because of someone elses error. The problem now is of course, there will be drivers that will be too affraid to brake a little harder and would rather have a collison to prevent a red flashing light.
