Lion Roar

Taken at Madikwe Game Reserve. 3 Female Lions and 2 cubs were walking down the road, when they spotted an Impala and made an impromptu kill. The cubs run back when the kill is made. This video picks up immediately after the kill. The 3 females eat, then the dominant male Lion comes to take over. His brother can be seen in the background, but will not try to eat because the previous day him and his brother fought (over a female of course) and so he already has a wounded eye. He ends up off in the corner with the 3rd female. The camera is only a small Casio Exilim and is NOT zoomed in at all. We were very close the sound of the roar was unbelievably loud and vibrating. It was awesome.

What an amazing experience we had that day, my last kill i saw before leaving Madikwe Safari Lodge. The memory will always stay with me.
