I went to see this game in Quebec city. Just because i am a big fan of Kovalchuk, Semin, Ovechkin, Markov, etc. And it was worth it. Especially seeing Kovalchuk and Ovechkin skate. Too bad it wasn't against a better opposition.

why can't they use the CCCP jerseys all the time in these competitions, they look nice

yeah, the angle can be confusing. But this happens all the time, the top corner from that angle is level with the bar, causing the confusion.

it was a goal, he picked the top right corner. if you watch the first replay you can see the top right nesh moved were he shot. If it went bar down it would have made a noise but it hit the nesh. the second replay looks like it hit the bar because it was to fast to tell. just replay 00:34 and you'll see
