Induction heating came first. Westinghouse in Pittsburgh was using it in the 30's and Tesla played with it all the time. Induction heating is nothing more than a poorly made transformer core.
Confusing. "Induction heater" usually refers to the use of an alternating magnetic field to create heat. This is a heater for air that is "inducted" through a carburator.
I guess this is cross contamination of terms. LOL

So that's what that thing does. Living in California, mine has probably never been called into service over its lifetime.
