Buddhist Art-Borobudur

The best time to view Borobudur complex is at dawn, when you can see the reddish yellow light emerging, breaking the darkness which envelopes the whole complex. Uniqueness of watching sunrise in Borobudur lies in the sun which seems to emerge in between two mountains, namely Merapi as one of the most active mountains in the world and Merbabu that is often said to be its twin.

Looking at the Buddha statue inside the stupa provides on with the view of the world of perception. As you see from different "window-hole" of the stupa, you'll see the different "faces" of the Buddha statue. One reality, manifests differently depending on where and how you view it... see it?
